Well,
So Ann, Mike and I finally made it to the lavish Clinton Iowa Holiday Inn Express...only to find our fearless leader Jay playing cards in the lobby.
No complaints...good company and a very competent driver made the trip go by rather quickly. I actually got much accomplished...was interviewed by an on-line webpage, had a phone meeting with the founder of Charitymiles and managed a 4 person phone call to discuss a potential film project.
But as the three of us sat at a roadside pizza place somewhere in Illinois, it dawned on us that we had traveled through a series of vowels....here goes:
OhiO to IndianA to Illinois to IowA
We had no idea how many other states could boast such a high number of vowels at the beginning and the end while being contiguous with other vowel laden states...after 2 beers we figured it would be too hard to figure out! Pipe in if you know.
Long day ahead of me on a bus with my teammates. Ragbrai here we come.
